Senators in the Democratic Republic of Congo have pushed back a vote on an electoral bill following riots in several parts of the country.
The bill, which could lead to a delay in the presidential elections, prompted days of protests in which human rights organisations say security forces used live ammunition and at least 42 were killed.
Much of the unrest happened in the east of the capital Kinshasa and at the city's public university.
